?Sherrelle Collman, Managing Director of Caridon Landlord Solutions and Caridon Foundation has been announced as a finalist for Entrepreneur of the Year at the Croydon Business Excellence Awards, the largest and most prestigious of their kind in the diverse and fast-growing borough.
In addition, Caridon Foundation has been shortlisted as a finalist for Best Charity or Social Enterprise and the wider Caridon Group has been shortlisted as Outstanding Team of the Year.
The awards, which return live and in person this year to celebrate the best of the local business community, received a record number of entries – 161 entries from 106 individual businesses.
Commenting on being shortlisted, Sherrelle Collman, Managing Director of Caridon Landlord Solutions, said: “It is an honour to have been shortlisted alongside so many credible business entrepreneurs and fantastic businesses within our community. Whilst I am delighted to be included in the category of Best Entrepreneur, I can honestly say that it is my team that have excelled over the last two challenging years. Without them, the organisations I manage (both Caridon Foundation and Caridon Landlord Solutions) would not be expanding the way they are or be able to support the many vulnerable people who rely on us.
All businesses are faced with daily challenges, and I think everyone is feeling the uncertainty and instability in the economy right now. That is why it is more important than ever to recognise those who are going above and beyond and I would personally like to thank my team for always showing up no matter how tough the day may seem.”
