I’m so honoured to have been Highly Commended in the Croydon Business Excellence Awards, in the category of Women in Business.
Everyone measures success differently and awards are not something I have ever felt comfortable doing. However, having been encouraged by my peers I put forward an entry detailing my personal journey to where I am today.
I found writing an award entry of this kind a real challenge. It wasn’t just about my business, but about me as an individual and this took me very much out of my comfort zone.
However, in a world where we are all too busy to stop and look back, this professional reflection gave me an opportunity to acknowledge the amazing team I have around me and to raise awareness of everything we have been doing to support the growing industry we work in.
My mission is to help and inspire others to be better versions of themselves because, win or lose, there is always room for improvement. I would like to thank everyone who has helped me be the best version of me and also encourage every female to push themselves out of their comfort zone too and see what happens.
